Overview
Are we there yet?
Yes, we are!
Artificial Intelligence has seeped into every aspect of our lives. From industry to healthcare and from agriculture to transportation, communication and safety; artificial intelligence is everywhere and it is definitely here to stay.
How do we cope with that?
How can we find a happy mean between the undisputed benefits of AI and the current and future drawbacks?
In their effort to tame the threats and drawbacks for the benefit of all, national governments and supranational organizations are issuing guidelines and recommendations. They do so, however, in an uncoordinated, almost haphazard, way. One cannot tackle global challenges by acting individually; concerted global action is required.
We have already started.
AI IA Artificial Intelligence In Action, a non-profit organization based in Silicon Valley and inspired by the ideals of Athenian Democracy, aims at promoting AI in a way that aligns with universal values of Democracy, Freedom and Privacy.
We are bringing together leaders of governments, international organizations and institutions, academia, industry and society at large to commit and to take decisive action.
This is where we stand.
We want to trigger balanced results in the global arena, and we plan to do so in a simple, tangible, understanding and understandable way.
We invite you to join us!
