Prof. Elisabetta Trenta
Professor of International Relations and former Minister of Defence of the Italian Republic
Elisabetta Trenta was born in Velletri (Rome) on 4 June 1967.
She served as the Italian Minister of Defence from June, 2018 to September, 2019.
She is currently Professor at Link Campus University in Rome teaching Intelligence and strategic Analysis in the Faculty of Defence and Security, and History of International Relations (Course History and analysis of international crises) in the Faculty of Diplomatic Science and Strategic Studies.
Experienced Researcher, with a demonstrated history of working in the international affairs industry and training, she is skilled in Military Issues, Political Analysis, Intelligence Analysis, Crisis Management, Government, Intelligence.
She is a senior programme manager, specialized in development economics and international cooperation, with an expertise covering all the phases of the program/projects life.
She has been working for more than ten years in post conflict countries and particularly in Iraq (Thi Qar Province).
